FC Augsburg 1-0 Bayern Munich: Champions’ unbeaten run extends to four matches

forced by a feather
Augsburg has lost its previous three home matches this season

Bayern Munich suffered a surprise defeat for the first time this season in Augsburg, where they missed the opportunity to rise to the top of the German League.

The Breisha striker scored the only goal in the match as the hosts scored their first home win this season.

Bayern have now failed to win their last four Bundesliga matches and could drop out of the top four after Sunday’s games.

Borussia Dortmund tops the table after its 1-0 victory over local rivals Schalke 04.

Substitute Yosef Mukoko, 17, scored the winning goal for Edin Terzic’s side, becoming the youngest player to score in the match.

Union Berlin, currently second, could reclaim top spot if they beat Wolfsburg on Sunday (14:30 GMT), while third-placed Freiburg travel to Hoffenheim.
