Realme India Finally launched the long-awaited Luxury mid-range smartphone, Realme GT Neo 3T, on Friday. The smartphone comes at a hotly contested price of Rs 30,000 in India, which has seen the launch of several exciting options recently for premium smartphone buyers. Realme GT Neo 3T vs iQOO Neo 6: Specifications, Features and Design
The Realme GT Neo 3T is similar in general appearance and design to its predecessor and offers a sporty checkered design on the back. The camera module at the back is an elongated rectangle stacked vertically, while the hole punch for the front camera is on the left. It is 8.7 mm thick and weighs 194 grams. It’s available in three different colors – Dash Yellow, Shade Black, and Drifting White – and each has an embossed finish on the back.
The iQOO Neo 6 comes with almost the same dimensions as the GT Neo 3T. You get two final colors – Dark Nova and Cyber Rage. The camera unit is a large square, which makes the device look rather bulky. The front camera is placed in the middle. Dimensionally, though, the Neo 6 is slimmer and lighter – it’s 8.5mm thick and weighs 190g.
Realme GT Neo 3T and iQOO Neo 6 feature the same display panels, resolution, refresh rate, and overall quality. Both smartphones get 6.62-inch AMOLED screens, with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, Full HD+ screen resolution, and 120Hz refresh rates. The only difference is that the GT Neo 3T gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5, while the Neo 6 misses it.
Processor, RAM and Storage
Both smartphones are also powered by the same processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, which means that both devices support 5G. While the Realme GT Neo 3T comes with a 6GB RAM version and has an internal storage of 256GB, the iQOO Neo 6 has 12GB RAM as well.
As a result, the Realme GT Neo 3T has three types of RAM and storage starting with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and going up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the iQOO Neo 6 comes in two variants – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.
Both smartphones are similar here too. It features triple rear camera setup, titled 64MP sensors in the main camera. The two additional units include an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth-sensing camera as well. Also on the front, both phones feature a 16-megapixel camera.
However, while the iQOO Neo 6 can record 4K videos at 30fps, the new Realme GT Neo 3T can record 4K videos at 60fps.
Since the two phones are also identical, both phones offer 5G connectivity and don’t feature 3.5mm physical audio connectivity or storage expansion via memory cards. Both phones offer Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C 2.0 connectivity, and under-display fingerprint sensors. However, while the Realme GT Neo 3T features Gigabit-class dual-band Wi-Fi 6, the iQOO Neo 6 features standard dual-band Wi-Fi.
Realme GT Neo 3T comes with a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. In comparison, the iQOO Neo 6 features a 4,700mAh battery and also supports 80W fast charging.
As you can see, Realme GT Neo 3T and iQOO Neo 6 both offer many similar features. They both feature a 120Hz AMOLED display, the same Snapdragon 870 SoC with 5G support, and 64MP triple cameras. The only area where the Realme GT Neo 3T has a slight advantage is in the battery department where it offers a slightly larger 5000mAh unit.
